TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Promoter
1. The Promoter is Canon North and Central Africa, a division of CME FZ-LLC Regional Sales organization, registered at Dubai Internet City, Canon Building, POBox: 500 007, Dubai UAE (hereinafter referred to as "Canon").
Offer
2. For selected Canon products (“Promotional Products”) detailed below, this 3-year warranty offer(“Warranty Offer”) provides either:
a) A one-year extension of the applicable two-year CCNA commercial warranty for selected photo video products.
b) A two-year extension to the one-year warranty applicable to select Canon cameras and Canon G-series inkjet products for purchases in Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco ,Algeria, Uganda, Tunisia, DR Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon Republic of Congo, Senegal, Tanzania, Cameroon, Ethiopia.
3. Unless explicitly modified herein (by extension), the applicable CCNARW(Canon Central & North Africa Regional Warranty) applies to warranty services provided under this warranty offer. In the event of a conflict between the terms of services provided under this warranty offer and those of CCNARW, the terms of this warranty offer shall control.
The participants
4. This warranty offer is reserved for end users (companies or individuals) (“participants” or “participant”). Distributors and retailers are excluded from the offer and cannot make claims on behalf of their customers.
5. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
6. All participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions (“terms”).
Product offering
7. The selected Canon Products eligible under this Warranty Offer (the “Offer Products”) and the applicable Warranty Offer are included in the list of Offer Products set out in Appendix 1 of the these conditions. Canon will add or remove products from the Offer Products list, therefore please refer to Appendix 1 for the latest information on the products included in this Guarantee offer.

8. All products in the offer must be new and genuine Canon products and must have been supplied and distributed to retailers by Canon North and Central Africa. Check with your retailer to make sure this is the case to avoid disappointment. Purchases of used, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products that are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (including, but not limited to, parallel or "gray" products will not be eligible for this promotion.
9. Claims from participants who make bulk purchases (more than 25 products offered per participant) will not be eligible for this promotion.
Offer period
10. This guarantee offer is now permanent until further notice. Offer products must be registered within the first month of purchase, as confirmed by valid proof of purchase. To register an Offer Product, submit your claim in accordance with the instructions in these Terms.
Supply territories
11. Offer Products must be purchased from retailers located or an Internet store with a domain or registered address in one of the territories listed below (“Offer Territories”). Offer Products must also be registered to an address within the Offer Territories.
Offering territories are Algeria , Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Côte d'Ivoire, the Republic of Congo, Senegal and Tanzania.
How to register your product and claim your warranty offer?
12. To claim the warranty offer, participants must correctly complete and submit an online claim form registering the product of the offer (including specifying the valid serial number(s)* of product) before December 31, 2024...Claims received after December 31, 2024 will not be accepted by Canon. Participants will need to scan, upload and attach valid proof of purchase to the online claim form (e.g. a copy of their receipt or online order and payment confirmation, including VAT). You should be aware that proof of shipping will not be accepted as valid proof of purchase.

13. After validation of the claim, participants will receive a confirmation email indicating that their claim has been accepted and that their offer product has been registered. If a participant does not receive this confirmation email within 8 business days of submitting their complaint, they should contact our support department by email at techsupport@canon-cna.com. Please keep your confirmation email safe as you may be asked for it as proof of the validity of your claim should you wish to obtain warranty services.
14. Canon reserves the right to invalidate any incomplete, incorrect or unfounded claim.
Disclaimer
15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind, howsoever caused, suffered by any participant in connection with this promotion. However, nothing in these regulations shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon's liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon's employees or agents.
16. Canon reserves the right to audit any claim to ensure compliance with these terms and to request additional information and supporting documentation. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or participants if it suspects the offer is being abused in any way. Canon's decisions relating to the offer are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The products in the offer are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be responsible for the inability of retailers to fulfill orders for offer products during the offer period.
18. Canon reserves the right to cancel, amend and/or modify this offer at any time without incurring any liability, but will always endeavor to minimize the effect on participants in order to avoid any unjustified disappointment.
Protection of personal data
19. Canon Europa NV, 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB is the data controller with respect to all personal data provided by participants. Any personal data submitted to us will be processed by Benamic, IDA Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this offer. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred to a secure server outside the EEA.
20. Personal data collected from participants is subject to the Canon Business and Canon Consumer privacy policies available at https://en.canon-cna.com/privacy-policy/.
How to Claim Warranty Offer Services
21. Once the request is validated, if participants need to obtain warranty extension and/or upgrade services provided through this offer, they should contact the relevant local support department of Canon hereand be ready to:
a. Provide the full device/camera/printer model name and serial number*;
b. Confirm the operating system installed on the computer - if applicable;
vs. Confirm participant contact details, device/camera/printer address and email address;
d. Provide proof of product purchase and offer warranty activation, in accordance with the confirmation email sent following online warranty registration;
e. Provide a clear description of the fault and carry out the recommended diagnostics;
f. Comply with any reasonable instructions from the support service to enable the participant to receive warranty service.

Law and jurisdiction
22. To the extent permitted by law, this offer, these terms and conditions and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
